Executive Details

Claiborn (Clai) Carr played hockey on the ponds of New York state, at Kent School (CT), at Upper Canada College (Toronto) and at Middlebury College (VT). He was the president of the Howard Huskies when his two older boys played with Howard and in 1993 co-founded the Tri-City Eagles where he remains the general manager. He is the president of the Gardens Ice House and helped start the Washington Ice Dogs Special Hockey team where his youngest son plays. For the first two years of Team Maryland’s existence he was the president.

He served two years as an infantry officer 1970 & 71 and works as a real estate developer. He is the senior warden at the Church of the Good Shepherd (Ruxton, MD). He is married and has three sons and two step-sons ages 26 to 32. He has served on the board of directors of USA Hockey.
